Probably not the grandest hotel you've ever stayed in but certainly a nice one in Key Largo....good breakfast buffet and a friendly staff. Great, central location, particularly if you are there for a wedding or other celebration. There are some larger "resorts" with beaches that are nice for a vacation spot -- however, this hotel certainly is a good one for an event holiday.

the hotel room was excellent. overlooked marina channel. lots of boats going in and out. nice clean area. two very nice pools. exercise room was also nice and clean. excellent area to vacation at. short drive to shops at key west. good restaurants (did not eat at hotel) parasaling and snorkeling reasonably priced and close by. will probably return next year.

Check in for a non-smoking room and got a room that smelled like an ashtray. They changed our room without problems. Room was a 4 out of 5. Pools and Tiki Bar are 5/5. Restaurants in the hotel area are 2/5. Food quality was fair at best. Service was slow but courteous. I would stay here again because I have kids that loved the pool. Would have been a 4/5 if not for the restaurants.
