Very Nice, but a little expensive?
07/17/2009Very nice place, hot breakfast is included. the rooms are quiet. we've had a very good rest there. a little bit expensive though. we've payed $$ in july 2008.

This hotel is old and the rooms are outdated. This hotel should be around 75 -80 dollars a night, but they stick it to you for the ski season. They do offer a hot breakfast, that we I wouldn't say enjoyed, but ate before a day of skiing. The back entrance of the hotel is often icy and they do not salt so watch your step. The bedding is old bedspreads, rather than nice duvets. Ufortunately this, is about the best place to stay in Mt. Shasta so this next time we will stay in Weed at a newer hotel for half the price, it may be worth the extra 8 miles to the ski lodge.

The beds were awesome, pillowtops and so soft. Hard to get out of. The free breakfast buffet was inedible; I would've rather paid at a local restaurant. But the huge indoor pool and spa were incredible, especially after a long day. We even played volleyball in the huge pool! The courtyard rooms are nice because of the seating area in the fresh air. Close to many restaurants, shops and movie theater.
