We went down to Key Largo from Miami for one night and wanted to stay at the Marriott but it was booked up. This place was decent and the people were friendly but for just a few bucks more the Marriott offers much more on site than this place did. This place is definitely a second choice for me but I'd stay there again if the Marriott was booked up. It wouldn't take much for this place to compete, a bigger pool, a better "private beach," and maybe a hot tub. Like I said, I'd stay there again, all in all it was nice, but I'd rather have stayed at the Marriott.

NIce complex. WE had a garden view,king room. WE could open our patio door and sit out on patio in the morning and drink our morning coffee to view their beautifl lush gardens, see the pool, and even glimpse the beach area from our room patio. The TIki Bar was open in the evening -our bartender, April, was courteous and informative. On our first evening ,we were lucky enough to see a "baby" manatee come up to where guestswere swimming and snorkeling for a drink of fresh water. Wow!! The pool was not opened until our third day there but even when opened, it seemed most guests preferred to sit out and lounge around the beach area with the beautiful view and great breeze. My husband needed to use the internet service however it was not working in the individual rooms. He had to go the the lobby /business office to pick up service. But on the day of our departure the DSL service had been restored to the individual rooms. The resorts' washing machine was" out of order** at the time. Had I known this, I would have packed extra clothes.No indication as to when that would be fixed. The restaurant on site was not open at this time. It would have been nice to have that open so that we would not have had to leave the complex for anything. There are some nice restaurants , grocery stores located close by.

MY HUSBAND AND I STAYED HERE AS A WEEKEND GETAWAY AND ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR ROOM. IT WAS COMFORTABLY ELEGANT WITH HIGH THREAD COUNT LINENS, AND ALL THE AMMENITIES, MICROWAVE, MINI FRIDGE, FLAT SCREEN TV, AND LOTS OF PRIVACY. THE GROUNDS WERE BEAUTIFULLY LANDSCAPED WITH A QUAINT BEACH FRONT OCEAN ACCESS TO THE GULF. THE STAFF WERE BOTH FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THE QUALITY OF THIS BEAUTIFUL COMFORTABLE ROOM FAR EXCEEDED THE PRICE OF OUR STAY!! WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN.
