Our family stayed 2 days during spring break and had a great time. The place has been completely remodeled, everything clean and new. Our room (a suite) was great, 3 TV's, new carpet, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, big closets. Worked great for the 5 of us. Free coco and cookies in the evenings and a lounge for drinks so we could sit at the outside fire pit and relax. The steak we got from the on premises restaurant was quite good. The free breakfast included waffle irons, a big hit with the kids. There was also an indoor fireplace my daughter enjoyed. Staff was very friendly. A couple old reviews had me worried, but a couple years ago ownership changed and many good changes have happened.

Toilet was flushing slowly and eventually overflowed. Front desk clerk was pleasant but only thing she offered was a plunger and towels. I had to walk over to front desk to get it and use it. After several attempts it finally cleared and I had to clean up the wet floor. Part of the problem is probably due to use of cheap toilet paper that does not breakdown easily at this Hotel. Room was okay but hallway had some unpleasant order.

I usually love Best Western, but I paid for a suite at this Resort and it smelled of moth balls. Also the walls were so gross with dirt and scratches it needed a paint job badly.
