My adult son was traveling with us, so the suite at the hotel was perfect for us, since he could use the sofa bed. The suite had a really nice refrigerator and sink, as well as a nice vanity area. The flat screen tvs in both the bedroom and the sitting room were really nice. The room was clean and the suite was roomy. Unfortunately, the internet service was not free, but is charged on a daily basis. The beds were comfortable and the shower/bathroom was okay- although they could supply larger or more soaps for 3 people. The free breakfast was extremely crowded at 7:00 on a Saturday morning, but there was a huge selection of fresh fruit, cereals, omelets, danish etc. There is an outside courtyard with tables and picnic tables, and a pool, which we did not use. We stayed at this hotel to go on a tour of the Grand Canyon (one day before Obama visited!!) and it was a really good location for this purpose. There is a restaurant right next door that is a Chinese buffet-- extremely good and convenient after a long day of touring.

This hotel is ridiculously priced for the size of the room, service of the staff, and the overall quality. We spent 2 nights at this hotel and will NEVER stay here again nor recommend it to anyone else. The room was dirty, including the bedding. And, when we called housekeeping to change the sheets the guy asked if we wanted him to do it or if we could do it ourselves! The staff at the front desk was very young and made inappropriate comments about bathroom humor within earshot of guests that was completely inappropriate. Then, to top it off, the room is extremely noisy. We heard street noise all night - and even worse, the trains that run near the hotel throughout the night. I did not get any sleep for the two nights we were at this hotel. I also overheard the guy at the front desk talking about how you needed to be cool about a caller that was female and requesting a reservation and quoted her a price that was about $100 less than what we paid per night. Another big problem we had is that the beds are SUPER small. My husband slept with our 2 year old and I slept with our 8 year old and discomfort can't even begin to explain what we felt! I believe the beds are double beds . . . not even queen sized. The only good thing about this hotel was the breakfast. It was a very nice breakfast, but not worth the pain of staying in the room and getting no sleep while in this god-foresaken place!

I had booked this hotel based on the amenities offered, the price, and the proximity to Sedona/Grand Canyon. It was better than we had anticipated! Upon our arrival, we were greeted very enthusiastically by the young woman working at Reception/Registration. She was extremely sweet and enthusiastic in sharing her knowledge of the area and suggesting the best way to experience it. The room was clean, quiet and very comfortable..we slept very soundly. The cooked-to-order breakfast included in the price of the stay blows away the competitions' ""white flour-and-sugar"" continental breakfast offerings. I would definitely return to this hotel location and will look to stay at other ones during future travel adventures.

I was in Flagstaff on business and happened across the hotel where I stayed one very pleasant night. The staff was very helpful and cleared up a bill error that I experienced without hesitation. There was a free ""Happy Hour"" in the evening and and excellent hot breakfast that supersedes the standard continental breakfast with made to order omelets. The room that I received was clean, spacious and comfortable with a microwave, mini fridge, small kitchen sink area and the o so important coffee maker. I would definitely stay here again!!

Visited Flagstaff (first time) in early August - loved escaping the DC humidity! Our visit was greatly enhanced by our stay at Embassy Suites. Check-in was a breeze; although we were early, our two rooms were ready and were very nice. Rooms were very clean and not too worn (many ES hotels are getting a little old), everything worked OK (plumbing, TV, lights, etc.) and the public rooms were very nice. Like all visitors, loved the manager's reception and the breakfasts, and by luck there was a great Barnes & Noble across the street. Not a lot to walk to in the neighborhood, but we had a car so no problem. Checking out was easy as well, and parking was convenient (and free). Hotel is on a busy intersection so one needs to leave the parking lot with care. Housekeeping was fine, and we did not smell smoke (or anything else) around the property. Pool looked nice and was generally busy. Bartender was frlendly and efficient. Plenty of families with young children running around, which does not bother us at all, but could disturb some travelers looking for a more gentle or restful stay. All in all, a typical ES experience, which is to say, very comfortable to return to after a busy day.
