Just down the street from the Luray Caverns, this hotel was a fine choice for a one-night stay. Some problems: the pool was outdoors adn unheated (this was June, but still), the free wireless often cut out, and the free continental breakfast was a $20 off coupon to a local restaurant. However, the staff was polite and helpful when asked about local restaurants and the room was clean and warm. One surprise: online travel website showed the hotel as $*** per night, but through some mixup, we got it for $**. Win!

online travel website rates this place as 3 stars, which is hard to believe. The exterior or the place is old and dirty. The blankets on both beds are worn and stained. Although the sheets appeared clean they had some hair on them. The carpet is decades old and worn, although appeared clean. Note that the description states that the place was upgraded with carpet and bedding in 1996 like that's a selling point to have been done 11 years ago. That is probably correct as the place looks it.

We stayed there for a wedding and were supposed to have a reservation for 3 nights. When we arrived they didn't have a reservation for the first night. Other hotels with this motels rating provides breakfast. This motel does not. The rooms were crowded.
