    Just came back from Rapid City. The hotel was, in many ways average. Clean, older, traditional motor lodge where one parks in front of their door. The staff was great. Friendly, helpful, went out of their way to help us. Better that many of the ""fancy"" places. The breakfast included with the price was unexpected, but very good. They have a pool but it was not yet opened for the season. We traveled with friends. They had need for smoking accommodations and we did not. So we could stay at the same facility while traveling together. It was great value at a fair price.

    Very comfortable rooms, quite calm setting near a highway but still tucked into the hills. Good breakfast with hot biscuts and sausage gravy! They had soup every evening and chocolate chip cookies! I would defantly stay there again!

    My family and i liked the hotel alot it wasn't too far from mount rushmore and other sites that we wanted to see the room was cleaned very well ...

    My Family and I liked the hotel alot it wasn't too far from Mount Rushmore and other sites that we wanted to see the Room was cleaned very well and we enjoyed the Balcony room that we got it was a great place to stay and we would most defiently stay there again when we go back for another vacation.

    From the time we checked in till the time we checked out was a horrible experience. The "owner" was a rude very unprofessional unreachable person. The pool is only 3ft deep maybe 4ft in the deep end not worth even listing having a pool. I did not feel safe staying in the rooms and the a/c is right above one of the beds so my son and I ended up sharing a bed because it blew right on you. I would not stay here unless you REALLY had no where else to stay!!

    THIS PLACE WAS SO DISGUSTING! IT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS RENTED BY THE HOUR!! IF ALL THE OTHER HOTELS WEREN'T BOOKED, I WOULD'VE STAYED ELSEWHERE, BUT I WAS STUCK. I REFUSED TO GO INSIDE SO I SAT IN MY CAR UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TALKING ON THE PHONE. I WAS MAKING SOME DISPLAYS FOR MY PRESENTATION SITTING ON THE BED AND GOT PAPER SCRAPS & PIECES IN THE BED. THE NEXT MORNING I CHECKED OUT & WAS DETERMINED TO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE. WELL, WHEN EVERYTHING WAS BOOKED, THEY GAVE ME MY SAME ROOM BACK WHICH HAD BEEN "CLEANED". WRONG!! THE BED LINENS WERE NEVER CHANGED & THERE WHEN YOU PULLED BACK THE QUILT WAS THE SCRAPS! WORE MY SHOES IN THE SHOWER. SICK, SICK PLACE
