This hotel, at $*, was one of the worst hotels I've ever been in. After asking for a non-smoking room, we were placed in in a room that smelled like a New Orleans bar during Mardi Gras. It was late so we stayed. The bed linens had cigarette burns in them. The bathroom was infested with spiders and some sort of gnat-like critter. Bathroom: The tub was rusted, the faucet didn't work correctly making regulating the temperature almost impossible, and the floor hadn't been swept or mopped in some time. The breakfast sent us straight out to a fast food chain. The waffle maker was filthy. If you like clean, this is not the hotel for you.

This hotel does not get enough credit , the staff is excellent and the rooms must have been renovated since this last review. I appreciate the fact they accept pets. My pet is like my child. I enjpy the breakfast and the pool. I always stay at the Comfort Inn when I come to Culpeper.

This is a dirty hotel that takes pets. Our room had bed bugs. My husband was bitten all night long. We had never seen bed bugs before so we did not know what they looked like. I called the front desk when I saw the first bug and was told (at midnight) that we could leave and not have to pay the bill. They would not move us or even offer to place us at another hotel. Don't stay here. The Board of Health was called.

Rooms are clean. Our second day the pool was closed. The clerk did not know why. We later were told that maintence was off and the gate just never got unlocked. The morning of our departure my children went to get breakfast at 9:15am. The in-room guide stated breakfast was daily until 10am, but its actually 9am. Since I did not get to use the pool and did not get breakfast I complained but the desk clerk did not seem to care enough to even offer an apology.
