When I called the hotel from the direct-dial phones in the airport, I was told the shuttle would be there in 7 to 10 minutes -- and it was! Staff at front desk were very helpful. Our room lock wasn't working properly, and the staff very quickly apologized, gave us new keys, and put us in a new room. We mentioned to the staff that we needed to take the 4 am shuttle the next day, and he immediately put us on the list for the shuttle, asked us if we'd like a wake-up call, and assured us that the free continental breakfast is usually ready a few minutes before 4, so we'd be able to grab something before we left. There was a computer right next to the front desk which we used for our airline check-in. The room was clean and very spacious, with a great little fridge and microwave, as well as a sitting area. Breakfast was ready early the next morning, as promised, and we were able to fill up before taking the short ride to the airport. We would definitely stay here again.

I mistakenly got on the wrong shuttle, I wanted to go to another hotel of their brand. When I got to Comfort Suites I found out that I was taken to the wrong hotel. The Front Desk staff wouldn't help me figure how to get to the hotel my reservation was at. I just had to sit in the lobby helpless. Finally I look through my paper work and found my hotel's contact information. MY hotel was nice enough to pick me up from this unfriendly hotel. I feel like the only thing Comfort Suites wanted from me is to STEAL my business and stay there. Once I told him I wanted to stay at the other hotel, I got no more help! The hotel I went to had a much nicer staff. They apologize for the mix up and thank me for staying with them. I am mostly upset that the Comfort Suites Driver even picked me up, all of this wouldn't have happen if he just check to see if I had a reservation with them. Don't you guys have a arrival list?????

Very cordial and helpful personnel. Room was clean and very nicely appointed with a tiny but useful kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The room was comfortable and attractive. The free airport shuttle was important to me. I will certainly make this my motel of choice next time I visit Portland.

Our stay at this hotel was only one night, but it was clean, comfortable and very accommodating. We were traveling to Portland so my Mother-in-law could catch an airplane home after the holidays. We had 3 adults and 2 young children 7 & 5. This Comfort Suite had rooms with 3 very good queen beds, which was perfect for our party.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, we asked for a late check-out since my Mother-in-laws flight required her to be at the airport @ 5am, so we came back to the hotel and slept a few more hours before heading home. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to check out at 1pm. The complimentary breakfast started at 4am and lasted until 9am, allowing us to grab a little bite before heading to the airport, which was only 2 miles away.
The hotel was very clean, the pillows quite comfortable (no pancake pillows here), the facility was clean and modern, and for being only minutes from the airport was actually quite quiet. The hotel has a pool, but we didn't avail ourselves of it, no time, but the kids would have liked to. There was a shopping center right nearby, several restaurants, and the 205 freeway.
Is this a fancy hotel with concierge service, room service, and valet parking... No. It is family friendly, comfortable, and an excellent value. This hotel is perfect for travelers and vacationers and I highly recommend it. Offers continental breakfast, high speed internet, airport shuttle, excellent staff, great beds and pillows, and clean modern facility. A very nice place to stay. Little information not available on their website: they have an elevator for the stair challenged (like myself) -
