  My family and I are from Colorado and travel to Kansas every year. For 2 years now we have stayed at the Quality Inn Hays. We have never had any problems. There are many resteraunts near by, the pool and hot tub are good; especially after a long drive. The room is comfortable for a hotel room and quiet. We will be staying here again.

  We walked into the room and did not sit down. Luckily they gave us a smoking room after we requested a non-smoking room - so we were able to change hotels (all the other rooms were booked). The beds looked like someone had been lying on them, towel rack was pulled out of the wall, and it was not clean. Our kids called it "Cockroach Towers" (since there was a dead roach in the middle of the floor)! We ended up at Sleep Inn and Suites, which was nice and clean.
