  WE HAD A COMFORTABLE STAY AT THE DAYS INN IN SALIDA. SUPRISINGLY NO STREET NOISE. VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS AND PILLOWS. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD. ROOM WAS CUTE. THE ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE HOSTESS WHEN WE ARRIVED OVERCHARGED US FOR OUR TRAVELOCITY RESERVATION AND SAID SHE COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. WE HAD TO CALL TRAVEL WEBSITE WHEN WE GOT HOME TO TAKE CARE OF IT, WHICH THEY DID PROMPTLY.THE HOST WAS MUCH MORE HELPFUL IN THE MORNING WITH ENSURING BREAKFAST WAS FINE. NICE COLORADO DECOR IN LOBBEY.

  We had 2 rooms here the first part of June 2009, and though Im not sure we got the best rate, for a budget hotel I was really impressed. The hotel common areas and rooms were spotless, the staff friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable (it wouldnt fit in my Honda Civic...I tried) and actually had FOUR quality pillows per bed! The jacuzzi wasnt fully functional which was disappointing, but eh...lifes too short to worry about that sort of stuff! Oh, try to get a room on the second floor if possible...no one above you then.

  We got in to this motel late, but I had called ahead and was told that was OK. Manager was very friendly. Room was spotless. Beds were more comfortable than home, pillow top mattress. The motel had been remodeled and was beautiful. For the price, this was an excellent place to stay in a beautiful town.

  Hotel is kept very clean and neat. Continental breakfast very good.Hosts are attentive and friendly.Pets are allowed. The grounds are well-landscaped with a hot tub and an outdoor seating area with shade.Will stay here on next trip to Salida.
