On arrival, found no room avail on ground floor (had senior citizen with us who'd had knee surgery), then found that the only way to rooms on the 2nd floor was through the lobby stairs. The whole place felt cheap and uninviting. Asked them to let us out of our reservation, which they did (the reason for a 3 rating on Staff), and we went to another hotel.

The hotel room was very large and very clean. It is a good deal for the money. The front desk staff wasn't exceptionally helpful or friendly, but there is a good visitor's information center in town. The hotel is in a good part of town so the outside door entrances didn't bother us like they would in a larger city. My girls swam in the pool which was very clean, but we about died from the over cholorination. The breakfast was decent and not too bad for "free". We were surprised that there was even a microwave and small refridgerator. The airconditioner worked very well and the showers were very hot. I hope this helps. We reviewed the comments placed here before booking this room.

My husband and I had a large clean room, for half the price we had paid at an older rundown establishment. True, the staff wasn't overly friendly, but they weren't rude. The complimentary breakfast wasn't as fresh as I like. It would have been great to have a small fridge in the room, but ice was available in the lobby.

Our stay here was very pleasant. We got checked in very quickly. The room was clean and quiet. The indoor heated pool and hot tub were nice. The breakfast had cereal, toast, donuts, juice and coffee. It would be nice to have waffles or other hot items, but it was better than many 'budget hotels'. The price was quite good and there were plenty of places to eat nearby. I would definitely consider this hotel when we come through this way again.
