A couple of miles from the ocean but the location was good. close to restaurants and shopping. The room we were in was half remodeled. the bathroom was done, but they hadn't started on the room itself, however the room was clean. We stayed there at the beginning of our vacation and decided to stay there again at the end of our vacation, as we had traveled elsewhere in Fla. On the return visit we requested one of the remodeled rooms. It was very nice. the staff also nice and accomodating. pool was clean and warm.

The hotel was a little creepy, long dark hall ways, and no elevator which meant we had to haul our 50 pound bag up a flight of stairs. The A.C. was inconsitent, either barely cooling or freezing.

10/17/2008We were totally disappointed. there was an offensive odor, the rugs were filty, the breakfast area was dingy. thumbs down all the way!

The Days Inn Neptune Beach was not a place I would stay again. I had the room booked for three nights but we left after only one. The hotel was old and in need of serious repairs. The whole hotel smelt of moldy or wet carpet. The door into the room did not lock securely and my family felt unsafe staying. The only good thing I have to say about this hotel was the location was close to the beach and near activites.
