The continental breakfast served each morning was the worst food ever. It was all stale................the Engish muffins were dry and broke in pieces when you tried to split them. The coffee was watered down....The room was not kept clean.............the lady in charge seemed rattled........there was no juice most of the time....................we decided to eat outside the hotel. Also............the box for outgoing mail was not removed daily as stated at the desk.............. my birthday card placed in the box on Monday night was still there on Thursday..............

Stayed one night. Only 20 minutes from Mt.Rushmore. Lots of restuarants close. Didn't stay for breakfast or used the pool. The pool was very busy, but over all the hotel was good.

Good place to stay for the price
07/22/2008We had a nice stay. the water slide is great, but the pool gets very busy at night....it was nice and quiet in the mornings though! lots of restaurants ...
We had a nice stay. The water slide is great, but the pool gets very busy at night....it was nice and quiet in the mornings though! Lots of restaurants within walking distance which was nice. When we were there the staff were very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was a good place to stay the staff was friendly and very helpful, my child was very ill and the staff at the front desk helped how they could as well as called our room to check and make sure he got better, I have never had such helpful service from staff at a front desk. Our room was very tidy the pool was busy but it was the long weekend so what can you do, anyway I would stay here again and I do recommend it, as well there are plenty of restaraunts and a large mall within walking distance.

Well for starters one of the beds didn't even have a fitted sheet. When we called the front desk they brought a second mattress pad instead of a fitted sheet then informed us that they didn't have fitted sheets. To say the staff is incompetent is just the beginning. The front desk did clear up the misunderstanding and was able to provide us with a fitted sheet. Then the next morning we left to see the city and when we got back we found a note saying that one of the beds could not be made because personal effects was left on the bed. A t-shirt on the foot of the bed and they don't make the bed. They had a note saying call the front desk if you want the bed made when you get back. Well its a policy that we were unaware of so that is partly excusable but then we find that they didn't refill toilet paper or leave us soap in the bathroom. Not to mention the elevator had an abnormal smell.
