    Have stayed here once previously. Room is clean and good value for money. There was an unfinished crack in the edge of wall which brought noise in from either lobby or downstairs room. Otherwise quiet, clean and comfortable. Recommend getting a room away from lobby as it's a no smoking facility and smokers, during winter weather, segregate outside of front lobby.

    I stayed on a weekend when there were several school aged children staying. I was a little apprehensive about staying for fear there would be too much noise with all of the pre-teens staying there. The management kept the noise down and all was well. I have relatives in the area and have stayed here in the past and will at HoJos again on my next visit. Good price.

    we went on a school trip, night desk clerk was rude and asked us once to quiet down, in which we did within a half an hour he called the room and told us to pack our bags and we were out of there!!! the noise was coming from down the hall, we were able to stay but he was very rude and we will never stay there again.

    We actually spent 2 nights over there (not consecutive). It cost $* for Sat and $* for Mon. It's very quiet in the room. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean. The only thing we wish it could be better is the breakfast. It has OJ/coffee/milk/tea and 2 types of cereal. Bagel/muffin/cake is more like the low end ones we get from the grocery stores. We wish it had some hot dishes, but I guess we can't expect much with that price.

    We were traveling up the coast and decided to pull over and stay in Arcata.
    As there were several hotels in this same block we just pulled into a driveway.
    Price was right for our budget. Front desk guy was so kind.
