Everything about the hotel and its rooms was exceptional. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms are just lovely! The breakfast wasn't anything fancy, but it served its purpose. A lot better than just coffee and toast, it had biscuits and eggs, oatmeals and fruits. My only criticism would be the trains. The tracks are about 2 blocks away, and for some odd reason, trains go by VERY frequently (like every 20mins). It took me a while to get used to them the first night, but I was so tired from driving I was able to sleep well and after that I was fine. So if you're a light sleeper, this place might not be the best for you. Look for somewhere farther from the tracks. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my stay and would book here again.

These are the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever slept on! My husband & I both said the bed was better than our bed at home! Nice comfortable pillows and soft linens! The wait staff for breakfast was very friendly and the food always hot, plentiful and good. There are trains nearby but there are trains everywhere in Flagstaff. You hear them all over town! They didn't keep us awake at all! This was a great location for traveling to the Grand Canyon and Sedona. Interstate entrance is close by as well as resturants and Flagstaff Mall.

Believe it when you read reviews about the noise level at this hotel. There is even a sign at the front desk warning guests that there is train noise. We hardly slept the one night we stayed here. Trains came through blowing their whistles every 15-20 minutes ALL night long!! Just about the time we got back to sleep, the next train came through. Got up exhausted, so it was very hard to travel the next day on no sleep the night before. Don't stay here if you are planning to get a good night's sleep.

This hotel was clean, friendly and comfortable. After a day playing in the snow my family returned t at 5:00 P.M. to find hot chocolate chip cookies in the lobby along with the 24 hr. hot cocoa, tea or coffee. The indoor pool and spa was a wonderful respite from the cold day and the beds were comfortable. Our room looked new with a remodeled bathroom and fresh bedding. The breakfast included boxed cereal, muffins, danish, bagels, yogurt, fruit, hot biscuits with gravey, along with eggs, sausage or French toast on alternate days we were there. The front desk was helpful and even lent us a broom to sweep the snow from our truck. There are two fast food places and a restaurant next door. Yes, we could hear the trains, but we ran the fan on the ac/heater and barely heard a thing. We will definitely stay again.

If you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. Trains go by blowing their whistles approximately every 30 minutes or less. There is a sign in the lobby saying train crossing but we didn't see it until we checked out. Also, I would never have expected the trains to run all night long and as often as they did. Breakfast was extremely crowded, not enough tables and they did not replenish items very quickly.
