  The front desk staff were wonderful. I was stranded at the airport after my transportation arrangements had fallen through. I called the Hampton Inn and they assisted me by getting the shuttle driver, who had left the airport several minutes earlier, to return and give me a ride. I was very thankful because there are places/people that have the attitude that it's not their problem. I was quickly checked into my room and was given a list of restaurants that would deliver. My room was clean and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choices. The staff were kind and caring, making me feel at home. My hat goes off to the staff that made an otherwise bad situation seem much better. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend to my family and friends.

  We stayed at this Hampton Inn while touring the Portland Zoo w/ our kids. The room was spacious. It had a livingroom area perfect to set up a port-a-crib. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyed by my family. Our only inconvience was a minor one. We got checked into the hotel late and when we put our daughter in the tub, we discovered there was a clog in the drain. The person at the front desk had to call in a maintanance worker from him home. It took almost an hour for him to get there. The lady at the front desk continued to call us to keep us updated, however this was a bit annoying. We have 2 young children who were trying to go to sleep. Each time she called they were woke up. I understand she was following policy and was trying to be helpful. Overall, this hotel is highly recommened. We stayed there a 2nd time in early Jan 08 and had a wonderful experience again!!
