The only plus to this place was the pool for my kids since many places in town that are affordable don't have pools. The lobby was nicely decorated and clean. Our room was on the bottom floor. 2queens. The air conditioner was noisy and so was the floor above. A miracle we got any sleep at all. The tv. flickered and the room was rustic and old. Not rustic decor and new. Toilet leaking and then would seep into floor. Unreal. Always felt damp and cold and it was August. The exterior was being painted so maybe this place will be fixed up, it has potential but really needs some TLC quickly.

The hotel was a dive. Small, dirty, scary neighborhood. After checking into our room we checked back out and found another place to stay down the road. Would not recommend it to anyone. Spent $** for nothing.

These rooms are great! Sooooooo large and clean. We only stayed one night, but wished we had more time to stay longer. Great kitchen, 1/2 bath, dining and living room with a balcony and fireplace downstairs. Cool nights in Sept were great. Real close to the downtown square. Upstairs was 2 bedrooms (1-king w/ sitting area & 2 Queens in other bedroom) & 2 baths with W/D. Super nice staff and real close to Bubba's Rest. Deffinately would stay again and would recommend to all families or 2 couples to share. Great price thru Travelocity!

I booked a small suite - they called it a deluxe queen - and was very impressed. There was a fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen. I inquired about summer rates and availabiltiy was able to look at their other rooms. They have some great larger suites which I will definately bring my family to for our summer vacation.

This place was not worth staying in a hotel. You may want to find a youth hostel. The security was bad. The latch on the window was missing. The bed was the worst of a ten day trip. The toilet could barely flush toilet paper. The room smelled like a sewer. The floor in the bathroom looked like there has been several overflows. The TV had constant flicker and a band of blue color in the screen at the bottom. There are much better hotels in Jackson. Choose any other.
