    The hotel is quaint, clean and not in a bad location. Reminded us of a be and breakfast you would find in Europe. Its a pleasant 10 minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf and we were blessed with great weather even at the end of October, so we always opted to walk to and from the hotel, even at night.

    I stayed for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend and had a great time. The staff is very professional and the room was clean and nice. Great bay windows that open onto Lombard so you can hear the city if you choose. The bed was comfortable and I felt right at home. There is a little cafe right next door with great coffee and several dining options within easy walking distance. If you want a nice place to stay in the heart of the Marina/Wharf area the Marina Inn should be your choice!

    I recently stayed at the Marina Inn and was impressed by the value. The rooms were nice and clean, although a little on the small side. I am giving it a 5 smiley based on the location and value. The staff were also very professional and there was a modest continental breakfast free of charge. If you are looking for a deal in the city the Marina is a good choice.

    Let me start by saying I was horrified when I read these reviews after booking the Marina Inn. However upon arriving and being treated with the utmost courtesy by the staff I went up to my room and was pleasantly surprised. I did a thorough check and found no bed bugs. I ended up having a very nice stay at a really great deal. I would come back any time for $ a night!

    The area is nice and close to attractions. The staff was very accomodating especially when we complained what looked like bedbugs on the sheets. They tried to assure us that not all rooms were infested. The room itself was your basic room but we did not give the hotel a chance to find us another room. The thought of bugs crawling on our skins at night was a deal-breaker. We had a good time on our vacation despite having to find lodging at the last minute. The staff was great but it does not make up for the bugs and lack of amenities in the room.
