I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We were traveling with a 1 1/2 year old and 3 dogs, and the room was perfect for our needs. There was an unexpected kitchenette in our room, which was perfect for preparing things for the baby. The room was clean, maybe a little outdated but not bad. The shower pressure will take your skin off... No problems with checkin even though we arrived at 9:30 at night. Continental breakfast was almost out when I got to it at 8 am, started at 6:30 am. A good breakfast spread out: 3 different kinds of muffins, cold cereal, oatmeal, bread for toast, english muffins, apples oranges, coffee and 2 juices. If you can get to it early enough it's awesome! The bed was very comfortable, and I wanted to take the pillows home they were great! Close to the ferry at Horseshoe Bay, less than 2 hours (depending on traffic of course) Overall a very nice stay and we would stay again.

smells of stale cigarette smoke, the blanket on our bed had a huge yellow stain, the pool cleanliness was questionable A lot of $$$ for the overall quality of this inn. Wouldn't stay there again. Very disappointed after a 10hr drive to get to Hope--Good sushi across the street though and close enough to the ferries in Vancouver just under 2hours to horseshoe bay.

close to the highway. only a five minute walk to downtown and restaurants. some trouble getting onto their wireless internet, but with a call to the front desk, someone came in ten minutes to fix the problem The Sauna/pool/whirlpool are clean, and underused, but could use a face lift. Roofing is in progress. Parking is tricky to get into, not for groups, but it is a good value for seniors, students, small families singles and couples. The hotel is clean, even though the lobby smells of cigarettes. My room was non smoking, and smelled clean, was neatly presented, and functional.

I had booked by the 1800 number and then was not able to call and confirm because of cell phone problems. We had been travelling over BC. When we arrived (an hour overdue) I then asked the clerk was the rooms still available. She looked at me and said ""you are pushing your luck"". I then asked re. the adjoining rooms again I was confronted with ""you are pushing your luck"". In total I was told this 5 times and I do have witness. I would be hard pressed to ever stay here again.I didn't appreciate ""YOU ARE PUSHING YOUR LUCK"" statements.Very rude.
