Was just looking for a place to stop overnight on the way to Philadelphia from Central NY on 10/09/09. Taking a quick visit with the kids to the Philadelphia Zoo on 10/10/09. Wanted a place with an indoor pool and hot tub. It was a little difficult to find in the dark. The best part of the hotel was the pool and the hot tub. Only problem I had with the pool area is that the floor tiles became very slippery when wet. I almost fell every time I moved from the hot tub to the pool. The hotel & room itself needs a renovation. It is long overdue. We had a room away from the elevators but the place was run down, clean and functional. Again, it looked its age but served its purpose. It needs help. But I have to say, I got what I paid for and did relax in the pool & hot tub. I would stay there again.

The hotel was clean/neat. The staff was cordial. Breakfast was the same time everyday (including weekends 7am-9am) and promptly cleared away at the assigned time. The weather was HOT for Pa. The air conditioners in the rooms worked well. The hallways, front desk entry and dining had no air conditioner. There was a lovely restaurant 1/2 mile away that served a great breakfast with air conditioning. For the price I would stay there again. It is actually outside the city limits in an area with a wonderful choice of restaurants and the fabulous WEGMAN grocery store across the highway!!

OK, the hotel is not bad at all. I read some of the neg. reviews, but I found the standard double room to be spacious and accomodating and clean. There was free continental breakfast, decent indoor swimming pool and a jacuzzi on the side of the pool, There's a small video game room and a pc in the lobby with internet access, and a pool table in the restaurant w/ bar area, there's also a decent workout gym. The location is near all sorts of dining, including a few different all you can eat buffets, and some activities, and plenty of free parking. The price was great, no need to compare, if you're not easily satisfied I'd suggest you get a more expensive room if you can afford it, they are on the higher floors and are very nice rooms. What else can you ask for, I really look forward to staying here again when I visit this area in PA.

My husband and I checked in for one night. The air conditioning in the room was insufficient. The air was cooler outside than in our room. The entire hotel was muggy/humid. There was mildew on the shower curtain. They claimed to have wireless internet however, we continuously got disconnected. I have traveled frequently in the last three years and am not real picky as to where to lie my head but this was one of my worst stays. When I complained to the front desk upon check out, there was no attempt to compensate me in any way.
