This Ramada was a disappointment. I stayed there in early April. The furniture, carpet, surroundings, and pretty much every aspect of the hotel were less what I'd expect from a bargain-basement budget motel, not a Ramada. My experience there will make me suspect any ""Ramada"" in the future. Nothing seriously bad happened, but the furniture and carpet were cheap and worn, one of the electrical outlets was loose (possible fire hazard), lighting in the room was dim, and the outside of the hotel was cheap and worn in appearance as well. The desk workers were friendly, at least.

I came here for a visit to the hospital, very economy price fits in the budget, Motel is old but very clean, I would recomend any one who comes to visit the carilion hospital to stay at the Ramada Inn river edge conference center, Very accomodating.

This is the worst Ramada I have ever stayed at, and will no longer be staying at ANY Ramada's. Their description is misleading. There are no other hotels or restaurants across the street or on the corner. The rooms are very old and VERY dirty. Refrigerator doesn't work and is moldy, and some rooms don't even have door knobs or locks, meaning they aren't fit for occupation.

We arrived to find dirty towels from the last guest balled up on the bathroom floor. There was no bathroom light other than a little flickering bulb so you basically showered in the dark. I can not describe to you how dirty the room was. We were only there for one night and just a few hours or we would have moved to a new hotel. Do NOT go...awful...
