• Road"kill" Inn leaves travelor miserable

  The arrival clerk was very nice. that ended the niceness of this dump. the locals who were not staying there were behind my room grilling hotdogs, kids and all. when ...

  The arrival clerk was very nice. That ended the niceness of this dump. The locals who were NOT staying there were behind my room grilling hotdogs, kids and all. When I entered the room, there were fried chicken crumbs all over the floor. The light over the sink never worked. The new blow dryer did not work. There was no cream or sugar for the lousy coffee. The bedspreads were cheap, dirty, and the room smelled very musty. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it reeked of smoke. I kept one eye open all night because there were lots of "unwelcome" cars and occupants outside my downstairs room. When I went to the "continental breakfast" in the morning, ALL I found were cold apple danishes, watered down orange juice, more bad coffee, and apple juice that was at least drinkable. So I had to go to the "Sheetz" store around the corner just to get something to eat. The hor water was gone by the time I got back so there was no bathing either. When I went to the front desk to inquire about the problems, she was too busy smoking outside...both times I tried. The beds were hard as bricks, and I never felt safe there. What a shame, but one that I shall not repeat.

  After arriving at 3:30 am and laying down at 4:00 am i received a phone call at 9:30 am, asking me if i would be checking out ...

  After arriving at 3:30 am and laying down at 4:00 am I received a phone call at 9:30 am, Asking me if I would be checking out soon or if I would be staying over ??? At around the same time Construction started on the staircases (metal fabrication) ... So now after being woken, I can't get back to sleep because of the noise. The person at the front desk should have known about the Constuction and put me in another area, As far as the room.... The Bed was worn out and the rest of the room felt very tired and old
