I stayed at this place for three nights, which were like nightmares. First of all the workers and owner are very rude and always in a bad mood. The owners have no manners in treating guests have four little children, and every time I sent my oldest son to ask for something they would shout at him! We arrived late the first night and bared it, the next night I asked for extra pillows but the lady, the owners wife, threw one pillow at me. When I asked for some more, since we were a party of six. She replied very rudely that she has no pillows at all!! Both the owner and his wife as zero tolerance for kids. They often boosted at any of my children if they saw them any where close to the lobby. Then continued to complain about the children roaming in the lobby the whole time!! Tough I tried to leave sooner, the owner was shocked by the thought of any refund! and just said ""no money back no money back""!! The next day we stayed in the room past noon, and when the lady saw my wife in the hallway she said ""Why you stay so late? You don't let us do our work"" Though this place is supposed to be close to the Grand Canyon, the truth is that it takes almost an our to reach it. But thats my mistake of not carefully checking the distance. Will never stay here again.

We have stayed in many Super 8's over the years and this was the worst one by far. The rooms were tiny and the towels were so thin you could see through them. Not to mention the towels were so small the barely covered anything! The continental breakfast consisted of a couple of doughnuts and cereal which was picked up by 9am completely. Staff was also not overly friendly. I will say that the rooms were fairly clean.

Made a stop here on our way to Grand Canyon. OK for a 1 night stay. Clean rooms and nice folks. Got to the hotel at around midnight. Was surprised to read from some literature that the historic downtown was just a mile away. Make a detour to see it if you have time.

Other Super 8's are better than this one

The information says this hotel was built in 1991 but it seems much older. The lobby is tiny and seconds as the breakfast room. The breakfast was mostly toast and donuts. The staff was poorly trained. Maybe an owner who can't afford to hire help and doesn't like it the business anymore. The bed and room was minimal. The shower screamed at me throughout my shower. Took the train to the Grand Canyon on our second day and my son (10) will probably remember it longer than the canyon.

The room is small. The price is decent. A small continental breakfast that is easy to get to. In a nice quiet area with polite but matter-of-fact management. If you are looking for an affordable room near the Grand Canyon, this may be right for you. But I would get nearer the Canyon next time.
