This is a nice hotel that is the closest hotel to Fisherman's Wharf and even has an entrance directly onto the Embarcadero. I have stayed in many hotels in San Francisco and would definitely stay here again. The price was reasonable for the room and not TOO bad for the parking (parking is ALWAYS high in San Francisco). The one thing that made up for the parking price is that you get to park your own car and ours was parked just a few feet from our room on a secure second level parking and was easy to get our car in and out. The parking lot (unfortunately) had the best view of the bay compared to the rooms but we did not come to SF to spend much time in the room. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. TVs were small but adequate. Staff was very friendly. There is on on-site Johnny Rockets but you don't really need it as you can walk to Pier 39 in just a couple of minutes. It has a great courtyard with comfy chairs, firepit, pool, etc. Rooms were not huge but big enough. Hotel was quiet for San Francisco. Rooms were very clean. My father stayed in an adjoining room and BOTH of our Sleep Number Beds were broken but we did not care as both of us found the beds quite comfortable without adjustment. Pros: Great location and easy parking Cons: Views from rooms are not great and parking is pricey

I would not recommend this hotel. The room was smaller than mine at home. It was loud all night with ongoing traffic out our window. The pictures are very deceiving. When you walk out the back door, you walk onto a street with trashy shops and homeless people all over harrassing you for money constantly. I paid alot of money to stay here and I feel it wasn't worth half of what we paid. If we were to go back to San Fran, we would stay on Union Square.

We enjoyed our stay at the Radisson, Fisherman's Wharf. The hotel is a little old, but it is remodeled and right in on all the action at the Wharf. Everything is close enough to walk. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nice; all we did was sleep there. The traffic is a little noisy in the morning, but you are in a busy city. We would have liked a regular "hotel" restaurant. There is a Jonny Rocket's on premise, which is fine, but we are old school. The bar is outside in the courtyard in the evening. It is ok. The furniture is uncomfortable and it was a littly windy. The bartender was very nice. There is a great upscale restaurant/sports bar nearby at the Hyatt for us old schoolers. All in all a very nice stay. P.S. The reason I put that I wouldn't stay here again is because I don't plan on returning to SF. We like to go somewhere new each time...there is so much to see!

The hotel was fine, including pleasant and helpful staff. The location was great for walking to all the sites on Fisherman's Wharf. The only complaint is the room was very noisy. We had an outside room along the street, and it was very noisy. The windows were single pane, and you could hear all the traffic, garbage collectors, trolley cars, etc. We did not get restful sleep during the entire vacation. Would only stay again if was able to obtain an interior room.

When I was planning our trip - there were 3 different rates for the king-sized bedrooms on the Travel site. I would have paid more for a better room. After speaking with a manager at this hotel - she said that was a mistake she'd correct - all king rooms were the same - not true. The first room - as most are - are along the front street next to the F train - which runs from early to midnight - very loud - sounded like a small plane doing a fly through. As I was recovering from a surgery - I needed rest. The second room - they stuck us with - was between an elevator and the 2nd floor parking facility. Beyond that was the loud music thumping from the pier. I walked back down to let the desk staff know my unhappiness - she did an excellent and well rehearsed deer-in-the-headlights gaze. First bath was larger - 2nd tiny - both needed repair. The rest of the room was nice. The best room choice would be a room on the 4th floor - in the middle section of the hotel - with a balcony - quiet. Not all king rooms are equal - I'd ask to see the room first. If you're going to party late - any room would be fine. The rest of the staff was very nice and the hotel was kept clean. The back entry to the pier made that easy. That same noisey F train is on a wonderful route for a visitor. Pool was heated, but the weather was too cold to try. More suggestions for San Francisco at my site - ljgoodcook .net I don't know if they'll filter the site out - but have great suggestions there.
