When I was reviewing hotels, every guest said the same thing about the hotel. I booked because I had family already staying at the hotel for my sisters graduation. The walls had obvious dirt all them. The room and beds were dingy as well as the floors. The front desk persons were not friendly only cared about how many people were staying. I did not even make a complaint with the front desk; it would have been a waste of time. I had planned on calling headquarters but I lacked time to make the complaint. For $* dollars I could stay at the nicest hotel here in San Diego, Ca where I am from. The amount being asked for such horrible accommodations is robbery. I can't believe that other people pay that price. I stayed in Room 230; my room was the worst out of all my relatives. My other Family refused to stay the night and ended up making the 8 hour drive home rather then staying in that hotel. I would never recommend this location to anyone, not even my enemies.

The hotel was dirty, smelly and the staff was incredibly rude. The room smelled funky when we first walked in. The furniture was dirty and the toilet was so loose that we were afraid to sit down. Don't waste your time, there are too many other hotels in the area.

The room was nice, not fancy at all, but it did the job. It was close to the Boardwalk which was important to our particular trip. For the price, I would stay again, but it wouldn't be my first pick.

The description and pictures make this hotel look pretty decent but it is not even that. (My family and I stayed for just one night for a weekend at monterey and santa cruz.) The room was shabby, the bathroom was dirty, and when I washed my kids feet at bedtime - twenty minutes later, they were dirty again! It's pretty sad that I have to have my children wear their sandals in a hotel. We wanted to use the indoor pool, which is in it's own seperate building across the parking lot, but that looked skeptical at best.

Maybe I'm just cheap but for $100 dollars a night I at least expect the room to be clean. After driving over from Fresno I wanted to take my shoes off and relax. I walked around the room for a few minutes and when I sat down in the bed I noticed that the bottom of my socks were completely black. The head board of one of the beds had a massiver booger smeared on it. The picture hanging over the bed was spattered with something. The furniture was ancient and falling apart. Bathroom counter had a large hole cut out of the linoleum covering it. Several large burn holes in the carpet. The AC didnt work. When I went to check in the woman behind the counter was on the phone with a potential customer. They were discussing availabilty of rooms and rates. She was very rude to the individual on the other end of the phone and told them to call back another time because she was too busy to help them. If I was that person I wouldn't have bothered, I would have found somewhere else to stay. I wish I had
