  Outside of motel looks like it had not had any clean-up in weeks. inside was a little better, but not much. i would not stay at this motel again.

  This hotel has a slew of problems begining with the unfriendly staff when you check in. The hotel is old and needs a lot of renovation. The room was subpar at best. Not to mention the fact that someone actually tried to get in our room at midnight. Luckily we had the bar on the door or they would have made it in. Obviously the lock didn't work. The location is horrible, getting to and from the hotel is horrible. If this is the only hotel available if we plan another trip to Roanoke we will stay at home.

  Our room was clean and great for the money--other parts of the hotel needed much improvement in the cleaning dept we will stay here ...

  Dirty. worn out. needs major renovation. our fault for staying though. should have left when we saw how bad it was. and the 2 computers that were there were taken ...

  Dirty. Worn out. Needs major renovation. Our fault for staying though. Should have left when we saw how bad it was. And the 2 computers that were there were taken the entire time by kids. Check out other hotels 1 mile away. That's where we'll be staying next time in Roanoke. The corporate execs at Hojo would never stay in this place, and they shouldn't expect others to stay either. Very disappointing.
