This is a decent place to stay in Oakhurst. The room has an odd layout with the bathroom sink right next to the room door, and it smells like deoderizer has been sprayed on everything in the hallway. Otherwise, it was a comfortable friendly place. Good continental breakfast with cereal, waffles, yoghurt, etc. Free Wifi. Great for the price.

This hotel is in Oakhurst about 50 miles from Fresno airport and about 30 minutes from the entrance to Yosemite . Although it is an older hotel, it is nice , clean and the rooms are a good size with sinks,microwave and fridge ,couch ,table and chairs and vanity bench and make -up area . The location is good and there is a homestyle restaurant on the parking lot. The lady at the desk in the early mornings was very nice , friendly and helpful. The breakfast area needed more room to move around and more places to sit . They had some of the best post cards that we found anywhere . At check out they gave us a nice thank -you card. Little things like that are really appreciated. It was fine for the value and I would stay there again or recommend it to anyone .

if you want to stay in Oakhurst area to visit Yosemite, please do not stay at Shilo Inn. My wife is not really picky for hotels, but she mentioned that the place smells like a real old cheap motel. It says Shilo Suites. No it is just a one room regural motel at very expensive rate. You will be better off at Comfort Inn down the road, where we stayed one night. Shilo Inn had better rating, so I booked both places. What a mistake. I should have stayed at Comfort Inn. The dryer in the laundry room never dried our clothes. We had to take the wet clothes home to dry. You will be better off at other places at lower rate. Do not stay here.

The room was very comfortable and exceeded expectations. There were several amenities including coffee maker, iron and ironning board, mini refrigerator, separate sinks and a telephone in the bathroom. The hotel is pet friendly. The most outstanding complimentary service was the continental breakfast. Not only were the customary items such as coffee, 4 types of juice and sweet rolls offered but fresh fruit, yogart, cereal, toast, milk, homemade waffles and other breakfast items available. I will definately recommend this hotel to friends.

The staff was friendly and informative. The room was a nice size, larger than average, and the beds were comfortable. The pool was heated. Breakfast was good with a variety of things to choose from - waffles, donuts, bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, juices, milk, etc. etc.
