My husband and I attended a funeral in Tucson and made last minute reservation. The free WIFI and the proximity to our family's house and to the funeral home were the reasons we chose Double Tree. The check-in staff was helpful and friendly, even offer us some warm chocolate chip cookies. The room was spacious and the bathroom newly remodeled. Too bad there was no counter space in the bathroom and no shower curtain or door. There were missing pillowcases on 2 of the 5 pillows on the bed which made me wonder if the linens had been changed. I would have traded the big screen TV for a small fridge in the room for water and/or food. The accommodations were adequate for last minute option but will not stay here if I have more time to make proper arrangements in the future.

Quiet and restful stay!!!! I enjoyed spending time in my room and playing tennis on the complimentary courts . The WIFI is great, the rooms were tastefully furnished and the property has an exceptional team with exceptional service!!! I have personally worked in the hospitality business and can attest to the service that I received while staying at the Double Tree.

We stayed for 3 nights for a business conference held at the hotel. The hotel is located in the ceter of town, but in a questionable neighborhood and we did not feel safe walking around at night. Our room had been recently remodeled, overlooking the pool courtyard. It was very pretty, especially the bathroom ? floor to ceiling tile, with a sleek design. However, it was incredibly unpractical. There was NO counter space, NO towel bars to hang wet towels, not even a place to hang the toilet paper roll (it sat on a small table in the corner of the bathroom). The shower was an open, walk-in design which was very attractive and also handicap accessible, but half the bathroom floor became a pool of water whenever the shower was used. We would probably not stay there again.

We had a room in the back on the second floor. The room was beautiful and spacious. The beds are big and the linens are clean and crisp. The only problem was that we couldn't find the elevator and had to carry our suitcases up and down. There is also no lighting in the hallway where the soda machine is, so we couldn't see the buttons!
