We selected Red Lion as our hotel in Klamath Falls due to it's central location on Klamath's main thoroughfare. The Motel was easily accessible however the parking lot and drive way was one huge sheet of ice and very treacherous. The room was a standard with 2 queen beds, (huge room) that was semi-remodeled. Looked like some remodeling was halted due to the Christmas ~ New years Holidays as there was some signs of patching and wall work still going on.) I tried the tag on the bed for fresh linens for the second night ~ looked like that did not work as the bed was simply re-made. The TV sported HBO movies to rent, Adult Themes and Nintendo for the kids. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby and there is a coffee shop/restaurant attached but we decided to scout out the town instead. All in all ~ nice room at a good price and would certainly do it again. Room had a nice Fridge, Microwave and coffee pot so you were fairly well off if you wanted to reheat and eat in.

The hotel is currently being remodeled and the staff encouraged us to take a remodeled Queen room, rather than a non-remodeled King. I'm so glad we did because the room was beautiful. The pool and grounds were pretty and clean. The continential breakfast could use some protein (hard boiled eggs) for those of us who don't like to carb load in the morning. This hotel was also very pet friendly which means alot to us.

06/02/2007I expected much more from a red lion hotel... the bathroom had spiderwebs in all the corners, the floor was ripping up from the shower. the furniture looked like it ...
I expected much more from a Red Lion Hotel... the bathroom had spiderwebs in all the corners, the floor was ripping up from the shower. The furniture looked like it was from a second hand shop and the pool and spa were dirty. Smokers were in the pool area.
