I did a road trip throughout Texas with some friends and stayed in various cities throughout the state. Houston was the last location on our trip for only one night so we stayed near the airport. This hotel was great, really close to the airport. It was however, approximately 15-20 minutes to downtown Houston. It can be more or less depending on traffic. The hotel was quiet as I feel that most people staying might be business people traveling due to its proximity to the airport. I did not see children/teens in the hotel, so it didn't seem like a spring break location. Breakfast was ample and had a variety of things. Hospitality was excellent, the staff was real helpful. I felt safe and secure in this location. Just make sure to take everything out of your car because there was a sign stating that car breakins/thefts has increased in the area. I still felt safe in this location though and would probably stay longer next time I'm in Houston.

01/13/2009Hotel is nice, room was nice... but sink ran very slow, and hot water was only lukewarm. best thing about this hotel is the cracker barrel next door.
