Only at the "Ritz"... It was outstanding. I would definitely stay there again. I found the food to be a little pricey and really not that desirable. However, the stay and the staff made up for the difference.

A disappointing stay at the ritz carlton key biscayne. The room which cost near $* per night was in poor condition. The sink had a very large multiple crack across the right side, a first at any hotel. The telephone in the small toilet area had been removed and an open large telephone plate was in open view adding another unsightly feature to the bathroom. The bare minimum in bathroom amenities. Its unclear how the ritz carlton name is attached to this hotel.

We (my husband, 14 yr old son, and I) just returned from two nights, midweek, staying in a King suite, with a double room connecting. There was a french balcony off of the double room, and a balcony off of the ""living room"". There was a full kitchen as well, and only one bathroom in the suite (in addition to the one in the double room). The service was outstanding, in almost every way, from being greeted at the desk, to the bell stand, to the housekeeping staff. Why almost? The staff at the beach was far from excellent. First day we arrived at the beach, I saw stacks of chairs, but no attendant. So we started to struggle to extract 3 chairs. Then the attendant came and told us we were not allowed to move the chairs, and begrudgingly got us chairs. It was 4pm, and he didn't want to move the chairs too far from the stack, and was annoyed that we wanted to move just a bit off to the side. He did not give us a flag to get waiters to come to us, which we wanted (we didn't even know there were flags til we saw others with them). The second day, it was quite similar. The room was quite nice, the beds comfortable. The bathroom was large with granite countertops, and a ""rainshower"" shower head. Now for my complaints: However, the shower didn't drain so that you wound up standing in ankle deep water, and the water pressure was so gentle that it was hard to get all my hair wet, let alone rinse out shampoo. There was a bidet in the bathroom, but it did not work. We had planned our second of two days to wind up at the hotel around 4pm, have a drink on the beach, swim, go up to the room and shower, and come back down to Dune, the grill on the beach. While getting a drink at around 5:30pm, we noticed they were cleaning up and closing. We had counted on eating there. We had already eaten at the Cantina, and did not want to eat at Cioppino. I also think paying for parking and internet in a place of this calibre, with these prices is unreasonable. And one last thing: there is no info in the room on the hotel and what it offers, what time things are open and closed, etc. There was a smallish tent that I think may have had drinks and snacks in it by the beach, but I didn't realize that til the day we left. Guests should be better informed of the offerings at the hotel, and the times that things open and close.

This resort is stunningly beautiful. The staff coudn't be more helpful, pleasant or professional. The beach is perfect. Many restaurants to choose from. Rooms are lovely. Location is great with quick access to Miami. Ritz Carlton service is outstanding and we had a wonderful time. Final comment, be prepared to pay . . . but it's worth it.

Great hotel, wonderful facilities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. If you also enjoy tennis, the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center is superb, with great adult clinics on a daily basis.
