I left my wedding ring & assorted gold jewelry at the hotel when departing. I called from CT (8 hours away) & asked them to search for the glass containing my jewelry. Not only did they find my items, but they shipped them to me next day air. I had my doubts (in this day & age) that I would find honest people - but that's exactly what they have at the Dolphin Inn.

The front desk was very nice and helpful. The room had a great view and was in the middle of everything on the boardwalk. It was a little loud at night for my taste. The jaccuzi didn't work.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of September 2008. We liked this hotel a lot. Every room has a balcony facing the boardwalk and the ocean. We enjoed the kitchenette. The bathroom was large. Considering going back in June 2009.

The housekeeping at this hotel is terrible. Not vacuum for first 3 days of stay. The pool area was not kept very clean. Tables were not cleaned daily no was the cement around pool swept. Did not credit our deposit of one nights stay that was charged to my account in September. They said they did not have any record of it, we are still trying to get it refunded. You needed one night stay paid before you could book the room,, but yet they say they did not receive one and still reserved our room. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for lodging!
