I travel to Scranton every few weeks for work, and they host their meetings at this hotel. This most recent time, I decided to stay over because we had a few meetings in a row there. The rooms were great! I enjoyed the new duvet bedding that they had in their rooms. I like seeing white bedding and being able to see that it is clean. The cable had a good selection, and you can order movies in the room if you wanted to. The room was also very clean, and I did not notice anything out of place. The hotel also has a great atrium which gives this hotel a different feel then most that I have stayed at. After my meeting, I went to the hot tub. It was huge. It can probably fit close to twenty people in it. I went to dinner in their restaurant. They had a Prime Rib special which was so worth the price. During my entire stay the front desk staff was great! They really helped me find my way around since I only usually get off the highway and get right back on when I come here for a one day meeting. Also, I was excited that they had free internet in the hotel because most places charge for it. This is a great place to stay, and I am planning on staying there again for a ski weekend later this month.

My family and I had a great weekend. My son loved the pool, we had a hard time getting him out. My wife and I enjoyed the jacuzzi right next to the pool. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. We will be back!

My husband and I and our 5 year old daughter stayed one night April 19 2008. If any Moms out there are germafobes like me, this hotel is not for you! The room was filthy and the sheets on one of the beds were dirty. My daughter was covered in bites from head to toe the next day! Disgusting! She didnt complain until we were on our way home which was a 4 hour drive. I called as soon as we got home and was told to call the next day and speak to the manager. I called the main holiday inn line first, then called the manager. He was nothing but rude. He told me he cant believe that she got those bites from his hotel, noone else has complained. When I asked if they have a pet policy and he said NO, but later found out that was untrue. I now have to take my daughter to the doctor because the bites are so bad and terrible looking. He did say that they would pay for the doctor but would only refund us 30 percent because we didnt call until late Sunday night. Like I said it was a 4 hour drive. We are still waiting for Holiday Inn to give us satisfaction, we will see.
