The rooms are small, but clean. The beds are not large, but comfortable with nice pillows. The air conditioner works great. The hotel is across the street from the beach, and has a view (a bad one) of the beach. That being said, the part of the beach it is across from is supposed to be reserved for surfers (not strictly enforced). The beach drops off quickly and the waives are rough. Very hard to enjoy deep water without a bogie board or a surf board. Good surfing. You have to walk a few blocks to get to a better part of the beach. We had no safe in our room, which caused problems as we had to store all of our valuables in the car or keep them with us. The "continental breakfast" was pretty poor. It consisted of juice, toast, cold ceral or oatmeal, milk, coffea, and hard boiled eggs. The coffea was weak. We picked up doughnuts at the icecream shop 2 blocks up the way most of our stay. The price was great. 1/2 of the price of rooms just across the street. The rooms are quiet. There are good restaurants within walking distance. The pool is small but clean. If you don't intend to spend alot of time in your room awake, then the place is a good value.

I chose this hotel for pricing and pictures online....The initial appearance was good but once inside, I could tell this was not what I'd seen online! The elevator was very old and moved very slow. The room had an awful smell and everything in the room had to be at least 15 years old, including the bedspreads!!!! The only thing this hotel is good for is bull-dosing!!!!

Good Hotel
08/31/2006I was alittle disappointed with the location of the hotel. the balcony was tiny. otherwise, the room was great. the beds were huge. the staff was helpful, friendly, and competent.

Hotel staff were less than helpful. We were given our room key, not instructed where the room was, or any info about the facility. Pool was out of service for most of our stay, and the pool was in the parking lot and could only hold about 15 people anyway. Lots of noise/very limited parking! We didn't have ANY bath towels when we arrived, continental breakfast was bagels and instant oatmeal, served only from 6-9am. I expect very little from beach hotels, but we paid WAY TOO MUCH to stay in this place considering all the issues.
