We had booked this brief vacation / conference in October. Watching the TV saw the great storm approaching the east coast. The hotel was great. We were safe, even on the ground floor. Staff was friendly despite their obvious stress dealing with the noreaster! The room was 10X better than I expected. I wanted to book a suite for the vacation, but unable to do so because it had to be a pet friendly room. But I was surprised, the room was a small suite and everything worked out really well. My vacation was great....despite Mother Nautre and the Noresater of 09.

I stayed in this hotel in October 2009 and was very pleased with every aspect. Check-in and out was less than 5 minutes, rooms were clean and up to date...the staff that we came in contact with were all very friendly...indoor pools were a plus since we went in October. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with REAL food at a reasonable price. I can't think of a bad thing to say and I will definitely stay here again. SWM MAW

This hotel was recommended by a travel agent. The hotel pictures look lovely on the internet but are not that in person. The front desk staff were very friendly as well as the attendees for the valet parking. The elevators were slow. The floor leading from the pool area is always wet and nasty. The pool outside was beautiful and leads right onto the boardwalk. The washing machine on the 4th floor in the adjacent building did not work and was filled with dirty water therefore, I had to use the one on the 5th floor. Machines look like they have never been dusted off, but it was free. The refrigerator looks like one you would have in college. No microwave to heat up food, if you want you have to go to the first floor. The jacuzzi is very small and can only hold 2 people, 4 is pushing it. The other jacuzzi was not working. The toilet in my room broke, but the engineers responded quickly. Each day our room was not cleaned until 3 or 4 pm. The staff looks a little dingy as if they did not like their jobs, but they were nice if you needed help. The kids room was nice. Great way to drop off kids for the day and have someone else keep them occupied. The lazy river was nice too. The restaurant did not have too much to offer. The room was not very tidy. Looks like they clean on the surface but all the dirt is underneath. Sides of the tiolet were not very clean. Found a toy under the bed from someone who stayed their before. Would stay again. the fitness room only had 5 machines, maybe 3 worked. Try another hotel.

We were happy with our stay for a long weekend at the beach. The location is right at the end of the boardwalk so much quieter but within walking distance to many places. We had the breakfast included in our stay which was at a small cafe right next to the hotel, where we could fill up on food before a relaxing day at the beach. The rooms were a bit dated with cracks in the floors and carpet coming up in some places, so it is not 5 star or anything like that. But our view was great, it is right on the beach, and more economical than other hotels. Not much time was spent in the room so it was ideal. The pool was always crowded and there were many families so most of the time was spent on the beach.
