Quiet, friendly staff, nice pools, not four star by any means, but strong 3. Food options were mostly fried and or grill type entrees. Food and drink expensive. Complex spread out over large area not convenient for romantic couples, but good for family outings. Rooms were clean, but average by hotel standards. Having stayed at 4 star SPA's in area for less We probably won't stay again.

As first time visitors to the desert and parents of two lively young boys (8 and 5)... dare I say we all had a fun and yes, relaxing stay at this Marriott! The layout of the room was awesome! Stay on the first floor in a 2BR unit which will allow your kids time to explore the cactus and hummingbirds while you enjoy a coffee and the newspaper! Everyone gets their own space and yet you feel that your children are always safe! The pools, walking paths, golf and kid's activity programs are awesome! There is a clubhouse for kids and families where you can enjoy playing Wii, ping pong, or chess! There are putting greens, playgrounds... I can go on and on! No hidden fees either! All the modern chain stores are around the corner as well as the uber cool Palm Springs and El Paseo shopping district! The service at this hotel was exceptional... we lost a camera and found it thanks to some great team work between the kitchen staff and the resort's loss prevention officer! Additionally, there are families from all over the US and other countries as well, our kids made so many friends and this was a common theme for others at the resort! If you want to experience Marriott at its best and visit the desert... this is the perfect place for you and your family!

Room was quite magnificent! A true one-bedroom with a full granite counter kitchen; large, round six-person dining room table and full living room with queen sleeler sofa, fireplace and french door to a golf-course-view balcony. Also attached to the balcony was a sliding door to the bedroom, complete with a second amoired-TV and a two-person soaking tub in the room. The separate bath included granite counter and large shower! Nice! ;-) Outside the property is huge! The entrance to the resort has beautiful rock waterfalls, amazing golf course views, an enormous two-pool complex, one for kids (waterslide and water play area) and one for us adults, both with free cabanas spread around for shade. A nice snack/beverage bar and poolside wait service was really great! All in all, a nice one-night stay... but this timeshare property with it's big rooms, beautiful golf course, nice pools and even carports BEGS for longer stays! So we're bringing the family of six back for a two-bedroom unit in August for AT LEAST THREE NIGHTS! Definitely recommend it!

traveled to Palm Desert for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised with this resort. It was immaculate, and was very well landscaped. All of the timeshares either face a lake or golfcourse. The rooms are very nice and offer a lot of space for big families. There are also plenty of activities for children throughout the day, including a movie theatre, arcade, arts and crafts, a water slide, and two pools. I would highly recommend this resort to others and hope that they will have a nice stay like I did.
