This is the dirtiest, most run-down place I've stayed in my whole life - and I don't frequent high-rent places. I usually chose Best Western-type places, and Cardinal costs the same. That is the only similarity. Nothing has been changed in this hotel in the past 25 years I'm sure. It was so bad we didn't dare go barefoot in the bathroom. My wife (rightfully so) wouldn't dare use the shower as well.

What a wonderful reminder of times past. Not for you if you are looking for the generic, one size fits all, each room is the same ****Inn. But if you want clean,spacious comfortable in a beautiful area, this is the place. When is the last time you had a room with a picture window in the back? Nuff said!

Fantastic Fireplace suite. We had full family with us, so we have rented their adjoined full size kitchen which is just like our home kitchen. It was equipped with everything that we needed. Great kitchen amenities. We will remember our visit to Cardinal Inn.
