This motel was our only choice as all others were booked and the motel we had reserved was horrible, so we left. The location was good-across the street fron waterfront, short walk to restaraunts, shopping. Way too expensive! The high cost was due to the location. BEWARE- none of the rooms are air conditioned and the windows only open a crack. It was very warm when we were there in July. The rooms are provided with a small circulating fan. The rooms are small and walls are very thin. Could hear people next door. Rooms very plain and need updating. No complimentary breakfast, but eating places are near but costly as are most things in Victoria. Wouldn't stay hear again as is poor value for the money.

06/29/2006We have stayed here several times. have not noticed the noise the 1st reviewer indicated. this hotel is convenient to all. nice resturant, especially breakfast outside.

If you are a sound sleeper and budget oriented, this is good. The waterfront rooms are over a loud bar, the back rooms are over the pool. It has one of the few liquor stores on the waterfront and with the budget price, it is very, very loud... with no A/C the windows stay open and the electronic key doors slam all night. We would pay more to go elsewhere again.
