This place was FILTHY. Had to call and have somebody come up to vacuum as there were toe nails everywhere. Then the AC broke and they had nobody to fix it. Pool was also disgusting as you could not see the bottom. Did not let the kids go in and we actually went to another Motel to use their pool. Staff was OK but this place was aweful. Dirty cannot discribe the whole Motel. This has to be a Management problem. Never Again!!!

Although the rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, it was the front desk staff that made the stay most enjoyable. They were friendly, knowledgable and extremely helful in helping us navigate Lone Pine to a wonderful restaurant for dinner (Seasons). We returned very satisfied, slept well and awoke to an incredible view of Mt. Whitney in the morning. The free "Sunshine" breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold items and was more than expected and replenished and maintained frequently.

A wonderful alternative when no rooms are available in Death Valley National Park. We had a quiet upstairs room on the east side of the inn, with a balcony, wonderful to watch the sunrise and hear the quiet of the desert night and morning; being sensitive to noise, this was a treat. The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable and the large upholstered chair and footstool were a treat to lounge in after a long, hard day of hiking in the National Park. Since the inn is located at the base of Mt. Whitney, we also had the experience of watching the eastern sunrise paint this western peak with exquisite color and hike the nearby Alabama Hills.
