When I finally found the motel the place next door was under construction. VERY LOUD! The description was deceiving. It said it was within walking distance of the aquarium. Maybe if you're a hiker! The aquarium is at the oppisite end of town. The room was clean. As far as the staff, they were helpful. They told me where to catch the bus to go to the aquarium. The web site says it is pet-friendly. It's not!

Hotel staff was very friendly and ready to please. Breakfast was more then expected and was kept fully stocked. Soap, towels, etc. were readily supplied and room cleaning was very good each day. Two nights out of the three we stayed, the rooms on each side of us were very noisy up until about 1:00 a.m. The first night, the room next to us obviously had heavy smokers because our room reeked of smoke from them!

We arrived went to our room an it smelled like they had an all nite smoking going on in there. The extra table that went under the mirror was gone. But when we called about the smoke the desk clerk came up with a spray to take the smell away the room looked pretty clean but the towels and wash cloths were all stained they need new ones. We did not stay in the room anyway except to sleep we just walked an enjoyed the senery all over the mountain.
