This bed and breakfast is like a dream come true. As a former travel agent I am quite an experienced traveller and have visited many hotels and resorts. Our 3 night stay was part of a trip through the Rocky Mountain area. As soon as you enter the place, you feel welcome and most of all, you will be excited to explore this beautiful area. The rooms are really lovely and we also had a balcony with a splendid view. The owners take good care of you in all sorts of ways. In your room you will find a very personal en detailed book of the Glacier area. Everything you need to know about hiking, restaurants and shops is covered. But do not hesitate to ask for any suggestions because then you will be rewarded with all kinds of suggestions thay you might not have thought about. You can use hiking stuff, even bear spray, sodas; there is also a recreational room. Relax with a nice glass of wine and enjoy a good conversation with the owner or some of the other guests. Lets talk breakfast now: this is really good. There is a week menu and I must say - it was a pleasure getting up for this tasty breakfast. I advise everyone who is having doubts of including the Glacier area in a trip: Go there and be sure to stay at Bad Rock!

We stayed two nights and didn't begin to exhaust all the amenities. Very welcoming. The bed was super comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding both days. They'll even give you some bear spray for your hikes in Glacier. The next property over is the home of an accomplished (and charming) potter, and I purchased a beautiful large bowl from him. Great recommendations for evening dining, and good advice on activities and how to maximize our time in Glacier. Wish it weren't so far away, and wish we could have stayed longer. In price it's at the higher end of places we tend to stay, but it was worth the $ and we learned that repeat visitors get a discount. Overall, highly recommended.
