Fog Horn. Every 15 seconds. DId not notice the sound until the tv went off at 10:30 pm, by then it was too late to leave. Had to sleep with earplugs and a pillow over my head! Still could hear the horn. Manager refused to discount the night. Was told that the city had reported that the horn would "Not hurt human ears." So live and learn. I am sure you could find a quiet, cleaner and more updated hotel for a similar price.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was great, and clean. The bed comfortable. The view was good. We had planned on coming back when in town again. BUT we will not be back, because after paying with our credit card, and being told that all was OK; we received a seperate billing on our credit card statement from the hotel for $22.00 When questioned about it, (per phone call by my hueband)the hotel could not tell us what it was for and said they'd call back. We have NEVER heard a word from them. Our Credit card company investigated and the hotel had no idea what it was for. So in the end we were credited $22.00 by the credit card, BUT we feel like we can't trust the hotel again and will find another place to stay when in town.

My husband and I were very disappointed in this hotel. We were expecting a room with a balcony for the ""OCEAN VIEW"". What we got was open the drapes and look to your right and you can see the ocean. The room was right next to the street that goes to the dock and there was drag racing going on almost all night. The continental breakfast was so so, for the size of hotel it was they only had 3 tables. We will not stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone either. It is overpriced for what you get, I can not believe it is AAA approved too.

We arrived at Anchor Inn half way through our vacation. We checked out of the Best Western due to many issues (too many to list) and we checked into Anchor Beach Inn in need of rest and a good place to stay. We sure found it! Anchor Beach Inn has clean rooms with a coffee pot, coffee, microwave and mini fridge. The ENTIRE staff there was polite and went out of their way to ensure our stay was nothing less than wonderful. This is my favorite place I have ever stayed to date and we travel a lot. The high speed Internet is really high speed and doesn't disconnect like it does at other hotels (this to me is very important). They have a breakfast that is included and has a waffle maker, fruit, cereals, oatmeal, fruit juice, sweet rolls, coffee, muffins, bagels and more. The staff was interested in making our staff comfortable and enjoyable. We had a lovely view of the ocean and it turned out to be sunny the entire time we were there. Thank you Anchor Beach Inn for helping to make our stay and vacation the best one ever. We are going to back.

We could see the ocean from our room but we did have to look over trailers from the RV park next door. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asked about where to eat. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, except for the bed. We would try somewhere else to stay before going back here just because of the bed, but if needed we would stay again.
