We stayed here one night while on vacation. It is close to Lassen Volcanic National Park. This is just a standard motel. We had a king size room that was large and comfortable. We used the laundry facilities, very cheap, $ a load. The place was clean. We ate at the Fifties dinner next door and enjoyed the place with all ithe collections of days gone by. The lady at the front desk was very nice.

We stayed here in the summer of 2008. We needed a cool room and a good nights sleep. At the front desk my first question was do the rooms have good A/C, the clerk said that is not a problem. Everything was great until later that night the A/C started cycling off for long periods of time. The room would get very, very hot and we could not sleep. I am sure this was a engery saving thing which I believe in, but when you pay top dollar for a room you should get what you pay for, They should have told us about the A/C going off and on at night and we could have choosen to stay or not.

I was very disappointed with my last stay here. From the lack of good house keeping skills and training of front desk clerks. This Best Western has alot of potential. It also took one of my fellow co-works 2hours to check-in with a poorly trained clerk not uderstanding how to deal with direct billing.
