In November 2008 I stayed for the first time in the Gatlinburg Town Square. We had a 2-bedroom lock off that had two firepaces, one in each side, the rooms were nicely furnished and clean. There was a Jacuzi tub in, the master suite, a nice roomy kitchen and dining room on one side and smaller kitchen and dining area in the other side. The resort was within walking distance of the main street and you can even walk to the Aquarium. There is ample parking with indoor parking garage. I plan on going back next month.

Our one-bedroom was ""one-room"" with one bed. It was much smaller than I expected. All amenties were crammed into a small space. The room was over priced for the value received. Also, the decor was out-of-date (greens/golds/oranges) and the furnishings old.

We were put in a hotel that looked nothing like the one pictured on the site. It is nasty and the staff was rude. When we got to the motel they were standing in front of the main door smoking. The room was large and had a gas fireplace that was on a timer. Our lamp had a short in it and was a real fire hazard. The railings are really short so if you have kids you have to watch them or the surely will fall to an early death. The elevator is small and scary. The carpets were dirty. There was also something dried to the headboard that I tried to ignore.

Town Square pictures their premium condo complex with lots of nice amentities, but that is not where they put us--we were booked in their ""hotel"" up the street which has limited parking, 1 small outdoor pool. The exterior of the bldg is older, room was large and nice, bathroom a bit small, nice jacuzzi/fireplace, housekeeping never left us any coffee after 1st use; didn't vacuum regularly.
