We've stayed here many times - summer, fall and spring and have enjoyed it every time. It's a nice place to stay and it's a newer hotel and the only thing to watch for is if you get a room that views the parking lot and you leave your window open at night, you will here people pulling in and out of the parking lot sometimes. Otherwise it's in a good location, near the highway and in the front of town. Grand Lake is a very peaceful, quaint town with small town charm. There is much to do in the area. Make sure you go out early enough for dinner though, their restaurants don't stay open very late.

My wife and I went up just for the night. We do a lot of over night stays in differant areas. This was just great. Staff was there for anything we needed and even the other guests were friendly. Booking and check out was a breeze. The rooms are clean and real nice. Nothing but high marks for this place.

This is a nice property in a beautiful location, but I would not recommend it at all for families. It is completely kid unfriendly. Management deals with issues in a very terse and negative way, and made our stay quite unpleasant. (And our kids were not misbehaving in any way!)It's fine for couples, but find another property to bring your family for a weekend.
