i recently returned from st simon island. my friend and i celebrated our 60th b/day and chose beaches b & b to spend 5 days. if your looking for a courteous staff, convenient location, lovely accomodations, delicious breakfast and magnifent view then beaches is for you.
whether you want to be physically active or leisurely layback it's all here. bikes are provided for a ride about the island. the beach is close enough to touch and one can walk for miles.
it's fun to watch the tide and the crashing waves can be heard from the spacious suite and will lull you to sleep.
i hope you choose beaches and know you will enjoy it as much as me................... -

This B&B was perfect. It was right on the ocean. The big sliding glass windows and wrap around balconey afforded grand views of passing cargo ships and shrimp boats. We could hear the crashing waves at all times. The governor's suite was luxuriously decorated with great attention to detail. It had ample room and seating. What a treat to sit beside the fireplace and look out over the ocean. Other extras included jacuzzi, stocked bookcase, stocked refrigerator, snacks, walk in closet, huge shower. The cleanliness was impeccable. We were provided with a delicious healthy breakfast daily. What set this B&B apart even more was the world class service. Each and every person we met there attended to our every need, even going out of their way to pamper us. All areas of this B&B were beautifully decorated and furnished.
