Yosemite is a big park, so know you will travel about an hour from the Valley. However, for price and standards it was the best option. The cleaning staff uses strongly perfumed products. We kept our window open the first day to clear out the smell and asked that none be used the second day.

Stayed here for 2 nights in April 2009. Booked online through Travel online, stating there would be 1 adult and 3 kids. Upon arrival, we informed of a $10 fee/child each night for the two 'extra' kids or an extra $40 from what was quoted. After reviewing the information, there it was in fine print that there may be an additional charge for kids. I drove 10 miles to get cell service to call Travel online and they made it right, but the owner was VERY rude and only after returning did the manager state he would have let me use his phone. Good items - granite counter vanity counter top; tile floor in bathroom; beds were comfortable, had extra pillows and were comfortable; had a coffee pot, fridge and microwave in room; clock in room had a red LED display, so no glow at night; steady room temperature - and I did not find the air conditioner to be noisy, as others have reported, nice pool and hot tub, swing set/playground area for kids (although mine were older), picnic area, felt safe and it was clean. Close to Yosemite. NOT so good items - no bathroom fan, we had problems with the toilet flushing, no cell service, no water pressure in shower, fiberglass shower, water changes in shower were VERY drastic if someone else (person in room next to you) flushed the toilet or turned on their shower. There aren't enough electrical outlets in the room - had to unplug the fridge to use the microwave. Unsure if we would stay there again due to the extra charge for the kids. Would depend on convenience and price.

If you need a place to stay really cheap - it was clean enough. Area seemed a little scary - but was very quiet and safe. This place needs an upgrade - late 80/early 90 decor. Bedding could use upgrade. You don't pay much for a reason. It was clean though.

Nice, clean place with great hottub and pool. I was pleasantly surprised after some of the previous posts, so I wanted to make sure to add my own here. It's basic, but clean, well kept, and with nice people running the place. The A/C was really loud, but the windows open so that's a nice option, and felt safe to do it. The only drawback is that it's right on the highway and you can hear the traffic.

It looks better than the pictures... it's a nice rustic place in the mountains... I'd definitely stay there again. Everything was very well kept and clean. I didn't feel like I needed to wear shoes anywhere, like I feel in many places we've stayed. The pool and hot tub were great also. As someone else said, the AC was really loud, so we left the window open all night instead. The only drawback I found is that it is right on Hwy 120, so you can hear the traffic.
