hotel was sub-standard especially considering the cost.we had to re-make the bed so we could sleep in it. sheets were too small to tuck in. mattress pad was rumpled up under the sheet.it was really offensive. at breakfast bar there were packaged danish that were about 1/" thick.juice dispenser was empty and empty milk carton was sitting on counter.very unappealling. won't stay there again.went to front desk to speak to someone- no one was there- we called for someone-no one came.

The rooms are really small and the bathroom was always wet and smelled of mildew but for the money we paid it was an okay play just to be able to sleep and change clothes. Also the breakfast was really bad so don't include the breakfast as a plus when choosing this place.

I loved this hotel! The pool, public patio, location was perfect! I loved how we were able to walk to the boardwalk and beach. Although others mentioned traffic noise but I only noticed it during the day and in the evening it was very quiet. Our room had two double beds. The room was clean and comfotable. I requested extra towels and pillows and they were sent over promptly. The hotel is nonsmoking and pet free which was a plus for my family. The staff was helpful and great with giving us good dinner recommendations. I'm going to take my family back during the spring/summer time.

This is just an old motel with new paint & tile. You can hear every step people take on the 2nd floor and even the mattress springs when someone sits down. I've had napkins thicker than the bath towels. The sheets aren't fitted and bunch up & come off during the night. The black out drapes go all the way to the floor, unfortunatly they go over the heater / air conditioner and have to be folded over the top so you can get air which separates the top so people can see in & light can get in. This is on a busy Blvd. with motorcycles going by late at night and it sounds like they're coming thru the room. The most I would give this place is 2 1/2 only because of location in Santa Cruz.
