Very nice older motel run by a younger couple who keep the place clean and well maintained. They shared some great advice about the area. The pool is beautiful and fenced ... in and even had plants around for decoration. They don't advertise a breakfast but have home made muffins, coffee and fruits available in the morning. On a trip in which we stayed at 6 different motels, this was by far the best.

Last week I had the pleasure to stay at the First Travel Inn. I arrived in Oakley from Kelowna Canada, where I live, at 2 am in the morning with no way to get to this motel as there is no taxi service in the area. I called the motel, and the owner was kind enough to get out of bed, get dressed, and came to gas station where I had been dropped off on the highway after a Greyhound bus ride. In the morning there was fresh fruit, hot coffee, and delicious muffins, home made style by the owners wife. I would highly recommend this motel to anybody that may come to the Oakely area. Nice clean rooms, lots of towels and extras. Thank you for your hospitality. It is so nice to see folks like this go the extra mile in this busy world of ours
